At the end of July, we enjoyed our inaugural “Titan Connect” event, a user group meeting designed to bring customers together for a day that would be engaging, useful, and genuinely collaborative. More than a conference, this was an opportunity to share knowledge, listen closely, and build stronger partnerships across the Titan community.
The inaugural event delivered on that promise - not only through a content-packed agenda, but also through the active participation of every customer in the room. From start to finish, the day was about connection: between dealerships, between teams, and between Titan and the customers who shape our future.

Setting the Scene
Taking place at the magnificent Star hotel in central Brisbane, the day opened with a warm welcome, setting a tone of openness and dialogue. The formal session began with Titan Managing Director, Matt Kroll, sharing the company’s journey “From beginning to beyond”, providing context for why this user group mattered and setting out the desire for feedback and future-shaping discussion.
From there, the program dived into the core of Titan’s operations. Sessions took attendees behind the scenes of product development, solutions, and support. Presentations such as “Turning Ideas Into Solutions” and “Unlocking Hidden Value” highlighted both the innovation within Titan DMS and the underutilised tools already available to customers.
Breakout discussions proved especially valuable. Attendees explored their own business goals and challenges, and we looked at how Titan could partner with them to achieve success. The conversations were lively, honest, and constructive - exactly the type of dialogue Titan Connect was designed to foster.
Guest speaker Lokesh Bahety from AWS brought a forward-looking perspective with “How agentic AI will change everything we do,” tying together technology trends with dealership realities. And in the afternoon, sessions on Titan’s product roadmap, technical infrastructure, and AI journey offered a transparent view of what’s next.
What Our Customers Said
Our goal was to create a day of value for customers, and we were delighted with the feedback from the post-event evaluation survey. Attendees rated the event highly across the board. Our averages were:
- 9.3/10 for relevance of topics and format
- 9.1/10 for presentation quality
- 9.6/10 for the venue and organisation
Comments reinforced the sense that the day hit the right balance of insight and interaction:
- “A day full of valuable info and great insights into the roles of the Titan team.”
- “Very informative, and the flow of the presentation throughout the day was good.”
- “High level of confidence and knowledge in all speakers. Both personable and insightful”
Most importantly, customers highlighted the real takeaways they would bring back to their dealerships:
- “That Titan is moving in a direction of innovation and trying to stay in front of the fast-moving IT automotive market.”
- “We had totally forgotten about Titan Academy and will likely sign up now we've been reminded of it.”
- “Eye-opening sessions on AI really gave me something to research and get acquainted with.”
Celebrating 20 Years
At the close of the formal agenda, attention turned to celebration. Titan DMS marked its 20th anniversary with a special evening event at Cicada Blu on The Star’s Sky Deck. Against the backdrop of the city skyline, customers and Titan staff continued conversations in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The venue provided a stunning setting for drinks, canapés, and live entertainment from Australia’s Got Talent semi-finalist, magician Josh Norbido, whose performance was a highlight of the evening. It was a fitting celebration - not only of Titan’s 20 years in the industry, but of the relationships that have made that journey possible.

Looking Ahead
What stood out most from Titan Connect was the spirit of partnership in the room. The conversations were open, constructive, and filled with ideas for the future. Attendees weren’t just listening to presentations; they were helping shape the direction of Titan DMS and sharing knowledge with each other.
That sense of collaboration is exactly what we hoped for, and it’s why we’re already committed to hosting Titan Connect again next year. With valuable feedback and involvement, the next event will build on this foundation and continue to grow as a forum where the Titan community can learn, connect, and work together on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
